- Provide Medical Nutrition Therapy: Assess diagnose and implement nutrition care plans tailored to each patients needs. Monitor outcomes such as weight labs wound healing and clinical progress.
- Educate & Empower: Offer nutrition education to patients families staff and the community. Develop patient-centered materials and resources that support understanding and long-term health.
- Collaborate with Care Teams:Participatein rounds patient care conferences and interdisciplinary meetings. Communicate with providers to ensure safe cost-effective and high-quality nutrition therapy.
- Lead & Mentor:Guidedietetic technicians interns and students in delivering nutrition care. Contribute to hospital projects quality improvement initiatives and policy development.
- Drive Quality & Safety: Implement clinical projectsmaintainthe enteral formulary and help advance patient safety goals in nutrition services.
Education:
- Masters degree in dietetics or degree that meets the requirements of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.
- Individuals credentialed as Registered Dietitians prior to January 1 2024 are eligible with aBachelorsdegree in dietetics or degree that meets the requirements of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.
- Successful completion of an internship coordinated undergraduate program or post graduate program accredited by the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.
Experience:
- One year of experience as an acute clinical dietitian for entry level practice or 3 years experience as an acute dietitian for advanced level practice is preferred.

- Lic Dietitian - Must hold a current license or certification specific to the state of employment
