Clinical Dietetic Technician

C.W. Bill Young VA Medical Center (Bay Pines VAMC) is seeking multipleClinical Dietetic Technicians (CDTs) to provide onsite nutrition and food service support in a hospital setting.

• Location: Bay Pines VA Medical Center Bay Pines FL
• Work Type: Full-time Onsite
• Labor Category: Health Technician (Dietetic)

• Rotating shifts 7 days/week (including holidays)
• Day: 5:30 AM 4:00 PM
• Evening: 10:30 AM 7:30 PM

• Tray assembly and meal delivery
• Diet order processing
• Support therapeutic diet implementation
• Collaborate with clinical staff
• Ensure compliance with VA dietary guidelines

• DTR Certification OR
• Bachelors degree or 24 semester hours in a nutrition-related field

• Hospital food service experience (tray line delivery diet orders)
• Knowledge of therapeutic diets: IDDSI Renal Diabetic Cardiac MNT
• Ability to stand/walk up to 8 hours and lift up to 35 lbs
• Ability to work rotating shifts weekends and holidays
