BHMG Cardiology Lexington
The Clinical Device Coordinator is a patient educator care coordinator system navigator and patient advocatewith the mission to improve the cardiac experience for device patients at Baptist Health. The Clinical DeviceCoordinator works collaboratively with the patient and their support system referring physicians and staffcardiologists nurses and other healthcare professionals to support the cardiac device patientthrough diagnosis and treatment. Provides professional clinical management of device patients under thedirection of Electrophysiology Physicians.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Associate degree or higher in nursing required
Current unrestricted Kentucky or compact state license as a Registered Nurse OR licensed in thestate of practice or Cardiac Specialist Certificate via Arrythmia Technologies Institute (ATI) ORcertified vendor training (Abbott Biotronik Boston Scientific Medtronic)
At least 3 years of cardiology experience.
Basic Life Support (BLS) via the American Heart Association within 90 days of hire and otheradvanced training as appropriate.
