Job Summary

Northwest Specialty Hospital is seeking a detail-oriented customer-service-focused Clinical Development Coordinator to join our Clinical Development Team!

Join our Clinical Development team and play an important role in supporting employee learning and patient education programs that improve the quality of care across our organization.

As a Clinical Development Coordinator youll be at the center of our education initiativescoordinating training programs supporting patient classes maintaining learning records analyzing department data and ensuring employees patients and instructors have an outstanding experience. Youll also serve as a welcoming first point of contact for the department helping create a positive experience for everyone you interact with.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys balancing customer service project coordination communication and data management in a collaborative healthcare environment.

Job Duties:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for the Clinical Development department providing exceptional customer service to employees patients leaders instructors physicians and community partners.
  • Coordinate employee education programs and patient classes including scheduling registrations attendance tracking communications and learning records.
  • Contact patients to provide class information complete reminder calls confirm attendance answer general questions and support successful participation in educational programs.
  • Prepare classrooms by ensuring supplies equipment audiovisual resources and educational materials are ready for each session.
  • Maintain training schedules department resources workflows and reference materials.
  • Collect maintain analyze and report department data to support regulatory compliance operational improvements educational planning and leadership decision-making.
  • Create reports dashboards and presentations for department leaders and committees.
  • Monitor inventory and order educational and office supplies as needed.
  • Assist with front desk responsibilities and provide basic building coordination.
  • Appropriately escalate clinical questions or patient concerns to the clinical team.
  • Support additional department initiatives and projects as assigned.

Qualifications and Preferred Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Excellent verbal written and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Outstanding customer service skills with the ability to communicate professionally and compassionately with patients and staff.
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities deadlines and schedules in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience accurately entering organizing analyzing and reporting data.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel Word Outlook PowerPoint and other Microsoft Office applications.
  • Experience in healthcare clinical education staff development or patient education.
  • Experience creating reports dashboards and presentations.
  • Knowledge of healthcare privacy regulations professional standards and regulatory requirements.
