YOUR IMPACT
As aClinical Counselor youll work directly with children individuals and families to identify needs build treatment plans and provide behavioral health services that promote recovery and overall well-being.
Depending on program needs youll provide services inCHS offices and facilities client homes schools and community settings.
Your work may include:
- Provide individual group and family counseling to support the emotional and behavioral well-being of children and families.
- Complete behavioral health and comprehensive clinical assessments to identify client strengths needs and treatment goals.
- Develop and implement treatment plans and clinical interventions under the supervision of a licensed clinician.
- Deliver evidence-based therapeutic services including Trauma-Focused Care and Infant Mental Health interventions.
- Facilitate psychoeducational groups on topics such as parenting skills independent living anger management behavior management and substance use.
- Connect families with community resources and collaborate with multidisciplinary partners to ensure comprehensive support and positive outcomes.

WHAT YOULL BRING
Were looking for someone who combinesclinical knowledge with empathy adaptability and sound judgment.
Education
AMasters degree (MA/MS)from an accredited college or university in: Social Psychology Marriage & Family Therapy or Mental Health Counseling
Early Learning Centers Support Team:Non-licensed candidates must be registered interns working toward licensure to be considered.
Experience
Youll also bring:
- 2 years of post-Bachelors experienceworking with at-risk children and familiesOR 1 year of post-Masters experience
- 2 years of experienceproviding services to individuals with behavioral health disorders and/or the ability to be supervised by a Licensed Practitioner of the Healing Arts (LPHA)
- Experience working with emotionally disturbed children and adolescents is highly valued;3 years preferred
Additional Requirements
- Florida Drivers License within 30 days of hire
- Daily access to a reliable insured vehicle
