What Clinical Services contributes to Cardinal Health
Clinical Care Delivery provides high quality patient-centered care focused on diagnosing treating and managing care while ensuring the safety efficiency and effectiveness of the practice.
Clinical Services are responsible for medical services that directly or indirectly provide healthcare to patients.
Responsibilities
Schedule cancel and reschedule all treatment patients
Ensure that patient records are updated and managed efficiently
Coordinate with doctors nurses and other healthcare professionals to set up appointments
Manage and prioritize appointment requests based on urgency and availability
Communicate with patients regarding their appointment details changes and cancellations
Maintain a high level of confidentiality regarding patient information
Qualifications
1-3 years of experience preferred
High School Diploma GED or equivalent work experience preferred
Medical Office experience highly desired
Patient Scheduling highly desired
Bilingual in Spanish highly desired

Applies acquired job skills and company policies and procedures to complete standard tasks
Works on routine assignments that require basic problem resolution
Refers to policies and past practices for guidance
Receives general direction on standard work; receives detailed instruction on new assignments
Consults with supervisor or senior peers on complex and unusual problems
