Key Responsibilities

Incumbents act as a Program Administrator for the office of Coordinate Care and Regional Supports within the Division of Family Health. They direct the development of policies and programs for the region assess overall program needs resolve citizen complaints represent the division to communities and at conferences develop and manage the regions budget and typically serve on the executive staff and have a major role in developing and implementing executive policy and related matters.

Day-to-day responsibilities of this position:

  • Developing and coordinating plans and policies resources and mission as well as goals vision and expectations of agency or program; preparing and updating plans and priorities
  • Developing directing and/or evaluating programs
  • Monitoring and evaluating operations programs processes and/or practices for quality and effectiveness; making recommendations for improvement
  • Negotiating or mediating issues with internal and/or external agency representatives and/ or concerned outside parties or their representatives; and settling or resolving issues or complaints
  • Planning organizing and directing overall workplace functions; coordinating time vacation schedules and staff coverage; establishing workplace procedures; authorizing billings/expenditures; maintaining records; arranging for equipment maintenance etc.
  • Monitoring agency or program budget including revenues expenditures and budget projection etc.
  • Supervising subordinate personnel including: hiring determining workload and delegating assignments training monitoring and evaluating performance and initiating corrective or disciplinary actions
  • Complying with the programmatic financial and administrative aspects of the award and ensures compliance with the
  • Creating and maintaining adequate documentation including programmatic administrative and financial records/reports
  • Reviewing and recording financial operations and use of grant funds

Qualifications

Minimum or day-one qualifications:

  • Masters Degree in mental health or related fields or equivalent experience
  • SAMHSA Grant experience
  • Childrens Mental Health experience

Preferred or trainable/on-the-job qualifications:

  • LCSW or MSW
