POSITION SUMMARY:
A Clinic Coordinator provides maintenance of the daily operations and general management of the practices. Allocating and assigning duties to employees monitoring activities and operations of the Practice components. This position requires employee to be a licensed person such as a LPN Medical Assistant Radiology Tech Imaging Tech etc. The Clinic Coordinator will also be required to function in their licensed capacity.

Essential Functions
Develops and implements departmental goals plans and standards consistent with the clinical
administrative legal and ethical requirements/objectives of the organization.
Directs and evaluates departmental operations including patient care delivery information technologies service level determination and complaint management to achieve performance and quality control objectives.
Plans and monitors staffing activities including hiring orienting evaluating disciplinary actions and continuing education initiatives.
Prepares monitors and evaluates departmental budgets and ensures that the department operates in compliance with allocated funding. Coordinates and directs internal/external audits.
Creates and fosters an environment that encourages professional growth.
Integrates evidence-based practices into operations and clinical protocols.

Minimum Education
If this position is filled by a Medical Assistant:
High School Diploma or Equivalent required. Graduate of a Medical Assistant program preferred.
If this position is filled by a LPN:
Must be a graduate of a Practical Nursing Program.
If this position is filled by a Radiology Tech:
Associates degree in Radiology is required
If this position is filled by an Imaging Tech:
High School Diploma or Equivalent required
Required Skills
Requires critical thinking skills decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
Certification:
AHA Basic Life Support (BLS)
Licenses:
If this position is filled by a Medical Assistant must have & maintain current certification for a Medical Assistant.
If this position is filled by a LPN must have & maintain current LPN License
If this position is filled by a Radiology Tech must have & maintain current certification with ARRT.
If this position is filled by an Imaging Tech must have & maintain limited x-ray operation license or ARRT
