Client Service Representative (CSR) Court Square Animal Hospital Long Island City NY Court Square Animal Hospital is looking for an enthusiastic reliable and compassionate Client Service Representative (CSR) to join our team! Court Square Animal Hospital is a full-service veterinary hospital located in Long Island City NY. We are a busy growing practice that values teamwork excellent client service and a positive work environment. Our team works together to provide high-quality care while making sure every client and patient feels welcomed and supported. We are looking for someone who is friendly organized dependable and able to multitask while maintaining a positive attitudeeven on busy days
Some of the responsibilities you will own in this role:
- Answering a high volume of phone calls and assisting clients with questions
- Greeting clients and creating a welcoming experience
- Checking patients in and out - Scheduling and confirming appointments
- Responding to emails and client messages
- Taking accurate messages for our medical team
- Creating and updating patient and client profiles
- Processing payments and assisting with account questions
- Communicating with clients regarding medications records appointments and follow-ups
- Maintaining an organized and clean reception and lobby area
- Assisting the veterinary team and other departments as needed
- Providing exceptional customer service to our clients and their pets
Preferred Qualifications
- **Veterinary hospital or veterinary receptionist experience is required**
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities
- Comfortable answering phones and communicating with clients in person by phone and electronically
- Reliable punctual and professional
- A positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team
- Compassionate and comfortable interacting with dogs cats and their owners -
- Ability to remain calm and professional in stressful or emotional situations
