Job Summary

This is a union eligible schedule for this position is day shift Thursday - Monday 7am - 3: SUMMARYHealthRIGHT 360 a nonprofit organization and a family of programs is committed to providing accessible and comprehensive healthcare services to vulnerable populations. Our mission is to tackle systemic barriers to healthcare and promote health equity for all. We offer a wide range of services including mental health care residential and outpatient substance use treatment and primary health services. Additionally we provide transitional support for individuals re-entering the community after involvement in the criminal justice system. By integrating physical and behavioral health we empower individuals to overcome challenges by addressing social determinants of health fostering resilience and facilitating Well is located on the Be Well Orange County campus which brings together mental health care services uniting public private academic and faith-based organizations in a cooperative partnership that helps facilitate communication bridge gaps and eliminate barriers to care. The result is a more compassionate system of care that works better for everyone in the community. The 24/7/365 residential substance use disorder (SUD) treatment program provides 3.1 3.3 and 3.5 ASAM levels of care for malesand females as well as 3.2 withdrawal management. There are 36 beds allocated for 3.1/3.3/3.5 AND 6 beds for 3.2 for a total of 42 Client Safety Navigator is an in-person role that fosters a safe respectful and welcoming environment while working with program leadership law enforcement and other teams to respond to emergencies such as drug use overdose and program RESPONSIBILITIESClient Care and SecurityEnsure and maintain a safe and orderly environment for clients staff and visitors in compliance with agency and industry security cameras attend building security meetings and work collaboratively with service providers and administrative areas of crowds debris and out-of-place items to maintain and deflect traffic de-escalate tense situations and maintain a positive respectful demeanor even during high-pressure collaboratively with other service providers and administrative staff to maintain an orderly appropriate boundaries and adhere to the organizations code of regular rounds to monitor entrances exits offices common areas and building with local law enforcement and file incident reports as distribute client money as and Visitor ManagementWelcome and assist clients returning from appointments ensure sign-in and check belongings for visitors check credentials ensure sign-in and escort them to the supervisor on client and visitor and direct calls or resources and information to clients and guests as Intervention and Medical AssistanceCarry Narcan recognize signs of overdose and administer Narcan as necessary to reverse drug -escalate emotionally charged situations and maintain non-confrontational behavior during observation and CPR and/or first aid as client medications are securely stored and properly accounted and Other DutiesDocument incidents in the facility client progress all documentation in accordance with HIPAA 42 CFR Part 2 and other funding requirements to satisfy internal and external evaluating and participate in in and complete all assigned training in a timely and respond to messages and emails when weekends and holidays as needed and as perform other duties as Certification or LicensureHigh school diploma or equivalent required. Associates degree or higher First Aid and CPR certification or ability to obtain within 30 days of years of job-related experience working with the criminal justice population or with the community behavioral health system preferred.
