The Personal Lines Client Manager is responsible for delivering exceptional service and helping NSIs clients protect their assets. They are responsible for managing all client relations and services within assigned book of business. They are also responsible for acting as primary contact between clients and insurance carriers and retaining clients through good customer service. Must be able to prepare and provide price quotes for all new and existing clients.
In This Role You Will Contribute By
Delivering an Exceptional Client Experience
Serve as the primary day-to-day contact for assigned NSI Insurance clients. Apply knowledge of insurance policies and procedures to provide proper and effective service and responsible advice to all clients and/or producers.
Respond promptly and professionally to client inquiries and service requests.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients carrier partners and internal team members.
Research and resolve client issues by coordinating with insurance carriers and internal stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate resolution.
Contact clients and/or producers to evaluate client needs and make recommendations present bid results relate new product information and receive feedback on services.
Identify opportunities to improve the client experience and communicate recommendations.
Escalate complex service issues to leadership when appropriate.
Maintain confidentiality of client information and business records.
Managing Client Service and Account Administration
Manage the day-to-day servicing of assigned clients.
Process policy changes endorsements cancellations reinstatements and renewals.
Coordinate issuance of certificates of insurance auto ID cards evidence of property insurance and other policy documentation.
Review policies endorsements and carrier documents for accuracy and completeness.
Maintain accurate client records and documentation within the agency management system.
Plan prioritize and complete daily workload while balancing new business renewals and service requests to meet internal and client deadlines.
Monitor outstanding items and follow through to completion.
Supporting Renewals and Marketing Activities
Prepare and provide price quotes for all new and existing clients.
Prepare and submit bid specifications to be mailed to carriers.
Compare bid results as received and determine recommendations for clients.
Process new cases by requesting appropriate documentation from producers or clients as needed.
Coordinate enrollment process with producers or clients.
Quote bind and underwrite all renewal applications and new business.
Issue endorsements for all client policy changes.
Process claims.
Perform new case installation.
Prepare all pertinent information required documentation and correspondence to set up permanent case files and update system.
Remains current with respect to industry updates carrier appetites and underwriting capabilities to ensure optimal program placement and pricing negotiations for each client; stays proficient in the use of all carrier systems that relate to the assigned book of business.
Prepare pre-renewal presentation materials and suggest or offer additional options or policies to clients and/or producers.
Review renewal actions and discuss with carriers negotiate changes draft renewal proposals and submit.
Schedule and hold renewal meetings with clients and/or producers.
Update principals on renewal results.
Assist in identifying coverage gaps or additional risk management opportunities for existing clients.

Required 3 years of Insurance Expertise Strong understanding of Personal Lines coverages. Market and Industry Knowledge In-depth knowledge of the insurance marketplace including carriers and coverage options. Client-Centric Mindset Ability to clearly explain coverages to clients and provide tailored risk management solutions. Strong written/ verbal communication skills with the ability to educate and advise clients confidently. Relevant Work Experience Previous experience at a local agency or insurance is highly desirable. Prior Property & Casualty client management experience. License Property & Casualty License preferred Customer Representative 440 minimum allowed.
Preferred Qualifications Experience working with agency management systems such as Applied Epic AMS360 or similar platforms. Insurance designations such as CISR CIC or CRM are a plus.
