Greater Staten Island Veterinary Servicesis excited to announce we are hiring Client Service Representatives to support our busy ER and Specialty Practice. If you enjoy being a part of a team of compassionate dedicated staff members committed to helping animals then we want to hear from you!
The Client Service Representative is one of the most important positions in our emergency/specialty practice as you are on the front lines there to greet each client who walks in the door setting the stage for a positive client experience. Our CSRs are ambassadors of GSiVS and will be responsible for checking clients in and out of the hospital booking appointments taking payments and fielding busy phone lines. This position requires experience in a fast-paced customer facing role and while veterinary experience is preferred we would happily train and invest in the right candidate.
About GSiVS: We are a multispecialty practice with boarded specialists in cardiology and surgery.

About you:
- Experience in a client service role is preferable but will train the right candidate
- Excellent communication skills are expected as you will often act as a liaison between the clients and the clinical staff
- Ability to answer multiple phone lines
- Data entry and attention to detail
- Comfort with taking deposits and discussing financial questions with clients
- Empathy and compassion for our clients
- Ability to be discreet and professional when appropriate
Schedule:
- Shifts rotate through daytime mid-day and evening shifts to accommodate a fair-work-life balance. One weekend shift will be required.
Salary:
- $20-$22/hour depending on experience

Base Pay
$20 - $22 USD
