Job Description

Summary

Provide daily one-on-one support for a bright high-functioning student with mild learning delays and ADHD tendencies. This role focuses on maintaining focus structure and engagement throughout the school day while collaborating with teachers and specialists in a positive inclusive classroom environment.

What You’ll Do

Support one student throughout the school day (8:15 AM–3:30 PM school-year schedule).
Reinforce classroom and therapy strategies for focus organization and self-regulation.
Apply positive reinforcement and ABA-informed techniques to sustain engagement.
Assist with transitions routines and peer interactions.
Record brief daily notes on progress and key observations.
Communicate regularly with teachers and parents for consistent support.
Contribute to a calm structured and inclusive learning space.

Experience You’ll Need

Background supporting students with learning or attention challenges.
Understanding of ABA methods or behavioral support techniques.
Reliable patient and adaptable approach throughout the day.
Experience as an RBT behavioral therapist or SPED paraprofessional preferred.
Familiarity with OT speech therapy or related developmental programs a plus.
