Central Missouri Community Action (CMCA) is seeking a caring energetic individual to join our team as Temporary Classroom Aide in our Head Start classroom. This is a great opportunity to support childrens development assist teaching staff and gain valuable experience in early childhood education-even if youre only available for a limited time. Pay is $15.09. Location is California MO.

What Youll Do:

• Assist teachers in implementing classroom activities and daily routines

• Help supervise and engage children in a safe nurturing environment

• Support childrens learning social-emotional growth and daily needs

• Create a clean and welcoming classroom environment

• Assist with meal times and hygiene routines

• Communicate positively with parents and classroom staff

• Follow all safety confidentiality and licensing standards

Who You Are:

• Patient reliable and enthusiastic about working with infants toddlers or preschoolers

• Able to follow guidance from teachers and administrators

• A team player who is flexible and eager to help where needed

• Comfortable maintaining a physically active role (e.g. lifting up to 40 lbs. sitting on the floor with children assisting with diapering and toileting)

Qualifications:

• Experience working with young children or low-income families preferred

• Early childhood certification is a plus

• Must have a valid Missouri drivers license and reliable daily transportation

Schedule:
Temporary flexible scheduling. May include part-time or full-time hours based on center needs. Typically Tuesday through Friday during center hours.
