Job Description
Position Details:
- Driver will access and pull containers out of the LA/Long Beach ports and BNSF rails and deliver product to customers in Southern CA
- Port work will be the main focus for the driver and they must be willing to run in and out of the ports on a daily basis.
- Container sizes are 534540and 20
- At the receiver freight is a combination of drop/hook and live unload
- If port work is slow driver will make LTL deliveries or pull intermodal freight
- Majority of LTL/Intermodal deliveries are drop/hook and live load/unload but occasional loads will require driver to offload with a pallet jack
Special Requirements:
- TWIC required at schedule
- Hazmat required within 60 days of hire
- Driver is required to run LTL and Intermodal freight as needed
Truck Info:
- Automatic Day cabs
- International and Freightliner (Driver does not choose)
- Slip seating is required
- Trucks must be left at the account for time off
