Claims Examiner - Commercial Auto Property Damage

Seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Claims Examiner specializing in Commercial Auto Property Damage to join a team. This role involves managing processing and resolving first and third-party Commercial Material Damage claims within defined authority. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial/transportation claims handling and a proactive approach to investigation and resolution.

• Salary Range: $80000 - $100000 per year

• Investigate analyze and manage first and third-party Commercial Transportation and Trucking Physical Damage claims including coverage liability damages and reserves.
• Handle subrogation arbitration and salvage processes.
• Collaborate with appraisers investigators adjusters and experts as needed.
• Maintain accurate and comprehensive claim files ensuring proper documentation and resolution.
• Verify policy limits deductibles exclusions and endorsements.
• Evaluate liability and monitor claim status for potential exposure opportunities.
• Participate in special projects as assigned.

• Bachelors degree in Business Administration Insurance or a related field.
• Minimum of 4 years of claims handling experience preferably in the commercial/transportation sector.
• Proven experience in managing commercial trucking bus and/or commercial auto claims. Experience with moving and storage cargo claims is a plus.
• AIC or CPCU designation is preferred.
• Strong skills in coverage analysis and verification particularly with commercial transportation policies.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities.
• Self-motivated and task-oriented.
