Job Summary
About The PositionThe primary responsibility of the Client Account Manager is to develop implement and manage the Civilian Agency Account in order to grow future business and services. The Client Account Manager is expected to work closely with the customer be expert on their priorities and requirements and to build relationships as required. Serve as Business Development Lead for assigned Civilian Agencies. Find develop and lead strategic pursuits. Implement and manage the major components of our business line in order to promote future business and services. Work closely with the customer know their mission and be familiar with their overall strategies initiatives developing programs and priorities. Delivers oral and written presentations. Leads client interface on strategic projects or in resolution of technical and/or performance related problems. Develops and maintains positive customer and client relationships to foster repeat degree in Architecture Engineering or Construction Management and 10 years of related experiencePE license PMP certification MBA or other advanced degree preferredAbility to work well within a team environment with a positive attitude multi-tasking ability and self-motivation to produce high-quality workAbility to advocate for resources within a matrixed organization and lead a multidisciplinary team without direct supervisory authorityDemonstrated leadership experience preferredStrong desire and ability to learn and grow professionally; must have the technical aptitude to understand Ponds services and technical expertiseExperience writing proposals change orders and reviewing contractual terms preferredExperience meeting P&L targets preferredExperience in executive communications as the Client Manager will be expected to keep internal and external stakeholders updated on project status health and risksProven track record of meeting sales quotas preferredGood understanding of project management techniques for scope schedule and budget management preferredTravel is required approximately 30% of the timeHybrid/remote work is possible but will require additional travel to Pond offices to coordinate with internal teamsOther Duties and ResponsibilitiesDetermines teaming resource and execution requirements to support clients program and upcoming resource allocation to maximize efficient and effective management of new approaches to advance techniques tools and program management of business unit in order to meet the needs of the client and achieve sales andencourages lessons learned exchange and technology transfer within business the performance of program managers execution of client program within the business mentoring and encouragement to individual team members with the goal of encouraging and maintaining team unity harmony and overall oral and written production of proposals SOQs and other marketing I promotion materials to build lead negotiations of fee offers scopes of work and contracts of program team and facilitatesthe communication intelligence sharing and interaction between organization and perform as project manager on strategic projects or in resolution of technical and/or performance related and maintains positive customer and client relationships to foster repeat and maintains body of knowledge related to training degree or job to company policies and duties may be assigned as company needs dictate.
