Civil Project Engineer

The GFY team is seeking a motivated Civil Project Engineer eager to contribute to an innovative and collaborative work this role you will report to mid-level and senior engineers supporting a wide range of engineering and technical disciplines including site design roadway design utilities stormwater management permitting and construction observation. Your responsibilities will encompass planning preliminary and conceptual design development of construction drawings permitting processes and preparation of technical engineering reports. This role will also play a key part in supporting both civil engineering projects and Construction Engineering & Inspection (CEI) activities ensuring high standards of quality and efficiency throughout all phases of project execution. Working alongside accomplished professionals across civil engineering disciplines you will benefit from meaningful mentorship to foster your professional growth.

Responsibilities:

• Produce plans specifications and required deliverables on assigned projects on time and within budget
• Follow supervisors lead on procedures calculations regulatory requirements and engineering practice

Experience and Qualifications:

The ideal candidate for this position will be a Civil Engineer graduate. A Florida Engineer in Training License is preferred. Qualifications and abilities shall include the following:

• Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering
• Familiarity in the use of CADD tools such as MicroStation and/or AutoCAD
• 1-4 years of experience in the civil engineering field
• Open roadway design experience
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel etc.)
• Florida Engineer in Training License is preferred
