Job Summary
STV is seeking an Civil Engineering Specialist for our Building group in Philadelphia or Douglassville Pennsylvania.
The Civil Engineering Specialist will play a key role in the planning design and execution of various civil engineering projects. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 1 years of hands-on experience in civil engineering. The successful candidate will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the successful completion of projects.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with project managers architects engineers and other stakeholders to integrate various project elements seamlessly.
Prepare and review detailed engineering drawings specifications and cost estimates for accuracy and compliance.
Prepare construction documents permit packages and support construction services.
Prepare design calculations and technical reports.
Utilize design software (AutoCAD and Civil 3D) to create construction drawings layouts and models for land development projects.
Develop solutions for site layouts stormwater management grading utilities and erosion/sediment control.
Review project RFIs and submittals.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering
EIT (Engineer-in-Training) is preferred but not required.
Minimum of 1 years of experience in civil engineering.
Proficiency in relevant engineering software and tools.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Familiarity with applicable codes standards and regulatory requirements.
Commitment to staying abreast of industry trends and incorporating innovative solutions into projects.

Compensation Range:
