An established engineering firm is seeking a Civil Engineer to join its Greenville office and play an integral role in delivering wastewater projects and providing broader civil engineering support. This position works closely with internal stakeholders and project leadership to develop practical engineering solutions support project planning and design and help oversee the successful execution of water and wastewater infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate brings strong civil engineering fundamentals experience with water/wastewater projects excellent communication skills and the ability to manage technical work while collaborating effectively with clients engineers and project teams.

• Provide engineering support for water and wastewater projects from initial planning and design through construction.
  
• Work closely with stakeholders and discipline lead engineers to define project scope and identify changes or additional requirements.
  
• Develop conceptual layouts cost studies designs drawings specifications and technical documentation.
  
• Review and critique proposals plans and designs related to water and wastewater treatment systems.
  
• Evaluate technical data and determine its impact on project designs plans and engineering solutions.
  
• Analyze complex information identify underlying issues and develop practical solutions to engineering challenges.
  
• Conduct feasibility studies for water supply systems runoff collection networks water and wastewater treatment facilities and wastewater collection systems.
  
• Provide detailed instructions drawings specifications and other documentation needed for construction modification maintenance and use of infrastructure.
  
• Compile calculate verify categorize and analyze technical and project data.
  
• Support project teams in delivering work on time within budget and to a high standard of quality.
  
• Participate in periodic construction site visits to gather project information and assess project conditions.
  
• Maintain strong communication and collaboration with internal teams clients industry partners and community stakeholders.
  
• Contribute to a positive professional culture and actively support the firms purpose vision and core values.

• Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
  
• Professional experience in civil engineering preferably with a focus on water/wastewater infrastructure.
  
• Experience supporting the planning design or evaluation of water and wastewater treatment or collection systems.
  
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to evaluate technical information and develop effective solutions.
  
• Ability to interpret and develop engineering plans drawings specifications and technical documentation.
  
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage priorities and deliver projects on time and within budget.
  
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  
• Ability to work collaboratively with engineers project stakeholders clients and field personnel.
  
• Strong commitment to quality control customer satisfaction and continuous professional development.
  
• Flexible and adaptable approach to changing project requirements.
