We are currently looking for a Civil Designer to join our fast-growing family-led engineering firm in Riverdale Utah. • Diverse Project Portfolio: You wont get bored. You will prepare CAD drawings for a wide array of projects including drainage transportation traffic land and large-scale commercial and residential site developments.
• True Leadership Potential: This isnt just a drafting role. You will lead the preparation of detailed drawings update our civil CAD standards and actively mentor junior designers and drafters.

• Lead Design: Spearhead the preparation of detailed civil design drawings including site layouts grading drainage utilities roadway design and plan/profile sheets.
• Advanced Modeling: Develop 3D surface models alignments corridors grading plans and earthwork calculations using Civil 3D.
• Collaborate & Refine: Work closely with our civil engineers to interpret engineering reports field data and surveys to refine design concepts and resolve complex issues.
• Ensure Quality: Maintain drawing accuracy through strict version control redline updates and quality checks. Ensure compliance with local state and federal design codes.
• Standardize & Mentor: Prepare and update civil CAD templates and best practices while actively supporting and mentoring junior designers on the team.
• Manage the Flow: Support project scheduling workload planning and task tracking to ensure we hit our legendary turnaround times.

• Experience: 10 years of drafting experience OR an accredited CAD certification with senior-level project experience.
• Technical Mastery: Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D. You know the software inside and out.
• Project Leadership: Proven ability to lead and design projects while successfully managing multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Technical Comprehension: Strong ability to read interpret and apply engineering plans specifications surveys and technical documents.
• The Right Attitude: A proactive problem-solver with a positive professional attitude who works efficiently both independently and collaboratively.
