TheCityoperates with a 202527 biennial budget of $461 million and a team of 407 Cityoperatesunder the Council-Manager form of government with a City Council composed of aMayorand six Councilors all elected at large to a four-year term not to exceed eight consecutive years.

THE CITY MANAGER

Appointed by the City Council the City Manager serves as the chief administrative officer of theCity performing all duties as provided in the Charter and ordinances of the City of Lake Oswego and as directed by the City Council. The City Manager is also responsible for enforcing and administering all City laws ordinancespoliciesand regulations. The City Managers Office has 8.5FTEsand departmental direct reports include the Assistant City Manager Deputy City Manager and Sustainability Program Manager.
