We were established in 1995 as Comfort Foods and rebranded in 2015 to City Beet Kitchens. We cater to large clients in the non-profit space (institutional division) as well as corporate and private events (events division) providing meals snacks boxed lunches and specific curated events (e.g galas weddings etc.)Essential Duties and Responsibilities:The essential duties of the Transportation Coordinator include but are not limited to the following activities:Coordinate schedules for drivers for CBK institutional any issues encountered during deliveries such as delays or customer weekly supplies are delivered to all contracted clear and effective communication with dispatch/manager kitchen staff and timely updates on delivery status and address any questions or drivers with any scheduling with customers in a friendly and professional customer inquiries concerns and feedback to ensure a positive food orders before delivery to ensure they match customer any discrepancies promptly to maintain customer food safety regulations and guidelines to ensure food is delivered in a safe and hygienic a delivery van safely following all traffic laws and routes effectively within the New York area ensuring timely and safe food orders to customers within specified delivery routes to account for traffic conditions and ensure load and unload food orders from the delivery proper food handling and adherence to safety :High School Diploma or equivalent.A minimum of 3 years professional driving and logistical coordinating experience.A minimum of one year of experience working directly with psychiatrically disabled or addicted providing recreation for this population extremely of case management databases and proficiency in Microsoft Office Renewal is an equal opportunity employer.
