Job Type: Contract (W2 only) 12 months
Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00 AM-5:00 PM

About the Role
SunSoft Online is seeking two experienced CIP Program Managers for a contract engagement with the City of Phoenix Water Services Department. You will manage capital improvement program initiatives for one of the largest municipal water utilities in the country coordinating projects stakeholders budgets and delivery across a major public infrastructure portfolio.


Requirements

  • Bachelors degree (required)
  • Manager/supervisor-level program or project management experience capital improvement programs strongly preferred
  • Experience with public-sector utility or infrastructure capital projects
  • Local to the Phoenix metro area (current location must appear on resume) available for in-person interviews within one week able to start within two weeks of an offer
  • W2 only; no C2C; no sponsorship
  • HireRight background check required
  • Current AZ PE registration preferred

Compensation: $95.00-115.00/hr W2 depending on experience

Required Skills:

CIP Program Managers for our client one of the nations largest municipal water utilities serving 1.5 million drinking-water customers and providing wastewater treatment for 2.5 million residents across the metropolitan area. You will manage capital improvement replacement and rehabilitation projects across major water infrastructure: pipelines from 24 to 108 in diameter booster pump stations steel tanks concrete reservoirs PRV stations and production/ASR wells plus wastewater programs including sewer main manhole force main and lift station assessment rehabilitation and replacement.


Required Education:

Bachelors degree in civil engineering or related engineering field (Bachelors required)3 years in civil engineering architecture or related field3 years in water/wastewater engineering design plan review inspection construction or project management2 years managing consultants and contractors on CIP or large private projects: scopes of work proposal review payment applications permitting design and construction drawing review
