Job Summary
Competent and experienced OB RN. RN must have relevant experience in labor and delivery triage and c-sections. RN must be able to care for low-risk pregnant moms as well as stabilize preterm and high-risk patients for transfer. RN must be comfortable working independently in a level 1 nursery to care for well-born neonates 35 weeks and older. RN must be able to quickly stabilize sick newborns with the support of an interdisciplinary team (peds call RN supervisor respiratory therapy) and prepare for transfer to higher level : 12-hour shifts Nights 1900 - 0730; flexible nights. 36 hours/weekWeekends: Every other weekendHolidays: NoOn-Call: May be placed on low-census on-call depending on volumes of the departmentNo guaranteed hours OT after 40 hoursRequired Education: MI RN LicRequired Certifications: ACLS BLS NRP STABLE Intermediate FHMScrubs: OR scrubs are provided and laundered
