As a Chrysler Certified Technician at C. HarperCDJR you will:

• Perform Precise Repairs: Execute work specified on repair orders with exceptional accuracy and efficiency adhering to dealership standards.
• Expert Diagnostics: Utilize advanced diagnostic tools and specialized equipment to conduct thorough diagnostic procedures.
• Ensure Optimal Performance: Test-drive vehicles to confirm repairs and identify any additional issues ensuring the highest standards of safety and performance.
• Comprehensive System Repairs: Diagnose maintain and repair a broad spectrum of automotive systems including engines transmissions electrical systems steering suspension brakes air conditioning and fuel systems.
• Handle Complex Repairs: Tackle complex repairs especially those involving intricate electrical and mechanical systems with confidence and expertise.
• Customer Communication: Work closely with the Service Advisor to keep customers informed about their vehicles status providing accurate time estimates for additional repairs.
• Warranty Repairs: Execute warranty repairs following manufacturer specifications ensuring compliance and quality.
• Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior technicians fostering a culture of learning and excellence.
• Safety & Cleanliness: Maintain a clean organized and safe working environment adhering to all safety protocols.
• Continuous Learning: Stay abreast of the latest automotive technology and repair techniques committing to ongoing education and training.
• Detailed Documentation: Accurately document all repairs and maintenance performed ensuring records are comprehensive and up-to-date.

To excel in this role you should have:

• Extensive Experience: A minimum of 5 years as a Service Technician with a proven track record of excellence.
• Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Certification: ASE Certification is mandatory; Master Technician Certification is preferred.
• Advanced Skills: Expertise in diagnostic electrical and engine repair with a strong aptitude for problem-solving.
• Technical Proficiency: Proficient in using advanced diagnostic equipment and tools with the ability to perform complex troubleshooting and repairs.
• Communication: Superior customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively with both customers and team members.
• Team Player: Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Tech Savvy: Basic computer skills and familiarity with dealership software.
• Commitment to Learning: A willingness to continue education and training to stay current with industry advancements.
• Clean Driving Record: A valid drivers license with a clean driving record is essential.

• OEM Experience: Previous experience working with CDJR (Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram) vehicles.
• Master Technician Certification: An advanced certification that sets you apart as a leader in your field.
• Hybrid & EV Expertise: Experience with hybrid and electric vehicle systems.
• Flexible Availability: Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays as needed.
