Yellowstone Clubs Outdoor Pursuits Kids department is seeking candidates for Childrens Snowsports Instructor. The purpose of the Childrens Instructor is to provide ski instruction to young members ages 2 to 7 years old.

To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge skills and/or abilities required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

• Explain and demonstrate technical ski concepts in a safe fun and professional manner using a variety of interactive teaching methods based off of age learning style and ability of the student within the guidelines of Yellowstone Club Snowsports School and PSIA.
• Set lesson plans based on Members and/or guests needs.
• Summarize with parents at the end of the lesson to include reviewing skills worked on and progress made.
• Assist in cleaning of locker room area.
• Uphold the highest levels of guest safety on varied terrain in high altitude with varying winter weather conditions.
• Ensure that students are matched to appropriate skier/snowboarding skill level and working with supervisors/managers to make appropriate changes when necessary.

Position Requirements:

• Strong Intermediate to Advanced Skier
• Currently enrolled High School or College Student

The position offered is a seasonal position located in Big Sky Montana.
