The Learning Experience in New Albany OH is looking for a passionate and nurturing Childcare Teacher to join our growing team! Responsibilities:
Implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities that promote cognitive social and emotional development
Create a safe nurturing and engaging classroom environment for children
Monitor and document child progress behavior and milestones
Communicate regularly and effectively with parents and guardians regarding their childs development
Maintain a clean organized and safe classroom in compliance with licensing and health standards
Collaborate with fellow teachers and staff to support a positive learning community
Supervise children during indoor and outdoor activities meals and transitions
Requirements:
High school diploma or GED required; associates or bachelors degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred
Previous experience in a childcare preschool or early education setting preferred
Knowledge of child development principles and age-appropriate teaching strategies
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with children parents and staff
CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
Ability to pass a background check in accordance with state childcare licensing requirements
Patient compassionate and enthusiastic demeanor with a genuine love for working with children
