Job Summary

The Childbirth Nurse provides family-centered care for patients with antepartum medical conditions patients in labor patients giving birth (vaginal and Cesarean-section) and their newborns postpartum patients and patients with gynecological conditions. The nurse interacts with those of adult age on an inter-disciplinary level; s/he must be able to effectively interact appropriately to individuals intellectual level and physical ability. Requirements: BLS required ACLS required NRP required Fetal Heart Monitoring (AWHONN)
