Child Services Assistant

Lifesteps is hiring two part-time Early Intervention Screeners to assess and evaluate children and infants as they grow and develop.

Position Summary:

The Early Intervention Developmental Screener is responsible for scheduling administering scoring and interpreting developmental screenings for children ages birth to 5 years old.

This position is also responsible for sharing the results of the screening to the parents in a professional non-threatening manner and providing parents with information on developmentally appropriate activities and child development.

Part-time positions work out of the Beaver Office from Wednesday through Friday 8:00 am - 4:30 pm. No Weekends No Evenings. No Holidays.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Required:

• Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education Elementary Education Child Development Family Studies Psychology or a related Human Service field
• OR -- High School Diploma with a CDA Certificate
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
• Current drivers license and the ability to travel for business with personal vehicle

Preferred:

• Experience with Children such as: Child Development Assessment experience prior work as a Teacher Aide childcare staff daycare employee AGS etc
