- Provide attentive one-on-one care with a strong focus on safety and supervision in all settings
- Support emotional regulation using calm consistent and patient approaches
- Engage the child in age-appropriate activities such as outdoor play movement-based games and quiet time
- Foster positive social interactions and model appropriate communication skills
- Maintain clear professional communication with parents regarding daily activities and progress
- Experience working with children with special needs; experience with autism spectrum disorders strongly preferred
- Demonstrated patience reliability and strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to provide structure guidance and positive behavioral support
- Must pass a caregiver/criminal background check
- Authorized to work in the United States
- Reliable transportation and consistent attendance
