High School Diploma or equivalent AND:*One (1) year paid experience in preparing foods in a commercial or institutional operation.*Knowledge of quantity food preparation.*Knowledge of operation of kitchen equipment and computers.*Practices of sanitation and safety related to food service. *Must be serve safe certified within six (6) months and renew certification every five (5) years. *Two (2) recent letters of reference attached to application.*To be considered all requirements must be attached when submitting application.
Applicants must successfully complete each part of the examination process in order to be considered TEST: TO BE DETERMINED. (PLEASE CHECK YOUR EMAIL FOR AN INVITATION TO TEST)PERFORMANCE TEST: TO BE DETERMINEDSCORING: WRITTEN EXAMINATION & PERFORMANCE EXAMINATION MUST BE PASSED WITH A 75% OR BETTER ON EACH TEST IN ORDER TO ADVANCE ONTO INTERVIEWS. All examinations must be passed with 75% or better. An eligibility list will be in effect for 6 months or until less than 3 applicants remain on the list. An eligibility list will be in effect for 6 months or until fewer than 3 applicants remain on the FIVE (5) permanent employees from the Lancaster School District demonstrates the ability to meetThe job qualifications the position will be filled on a promotional basis.
