Magic Memories is seeking a dedicated organized and enthusiastic Assistant Director to help lead our school community. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced childcare professional who is passionate about supporting children families and educators while helping a school thrive.

What Youll Do

As Assistant Director you will partner with the Director and leadership team to ensure the successful daily operation of the school.

Leadership & Operations

• Support the daily management and operations of the center.
• Ensure proper staffing scheduling supervision and compliance with child-to-staff ratios.
• Maintain a safe positive and nurturing environment for children families and staff.
• Help oversee enrollment attendance and overall school performance.
  
  

Staff Development

• Train coach mentor and evaluate teachers and support staff.
• Foster a positive team culture built on collaboration accountability and professional growth.
• Support staff retention and engagement initiatives.
  
  

Family & Community Engagement

• Build strong relationships with families and serve as a key point of support.
• Promote effective communication between families teachers and leadership.
• Help create a welcoming school community where children and families feel valued.
  
  

Program Excellence

• Ensure compliance with company policies licensing regulations and quality standards.
• Assist in planning and implementing special programs including summer camp and enrichment activities.
• Support continuous improvement efforts to enhance program quality and family satisfaction.
  
  

Professional Growth

• Participate in leadership meetings trainings conferences and professional development opportunities.
• Stay current on required certifications training and industry best practices.
  
  

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a licensed childcare preschool or early childhood education setting
• Strong leadership communication and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Commitment to providing exceptional care and educational experiences for children
  

• At least 1 year of administrative or supervisory experience
• Associates or Bachelors degree in:
  • Early Childhood Education
  • Child Development
  • Special Education
  • Elementary Education
  • Human Services
  • Or a related field
