What will you be doing
As an Assistant Director you will work with the Center Director teachers and families to provide a home away from home for children in our care according to NAEYC guidelines. Responsibilities include:
Ensuring the safety and supervision of children ages 6 weeks 12 years.
Ensuring that all staff members understand the objectives and expectations within each classroom.
Assisting the Center Director with adherence to child care licensing requirements as well as internal policies of the company.
Handling administrative duties within the center office.
Substituting as Center Director in the event of their absence.
Providing effective communication with parents/guardians about their child.

Requirements:
Bachelors Degree in Early Childhood Education with 2 years of work experience OR Masters Degree in Early Childhood Education with 1 year of work experience required
Demonstrated leadership qualities
Must be able to function independently within the Microsoft Office suite of products
Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
Ability to multitask and remain organized
Ability to work within regular operating hours
Must meet state criteria for child care employment
