Chief Human Resources (nursing homes)

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Chief of Human Resources to join our leadership team in the St. Louis area. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in the nursing home industry with expertise in employee relations compliance talent development and workforce planning. This individual will be a strategic partner to the executive team driving HR initiatives that support organizational growth regulatory excellence and a culture of care.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee all HR functions including recruitment employee relations benefits and compliance

• Partner with leadership to design and implement strategic HR initiatives

• Ensure compliance with federal state and industry regulations specific to long-term care

• Develop retention and engagement strategies tailored to the nursing home workforce

• Provide coaching and guidance to managers and staff at all levels

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Human Resources or related field (Masters preferred)

• 4 years of progressive HR leadership experience including at least 3 years in the nursing home/long-term care industry

• Strong knowledge of labor laws compliance standards and HR best practices

• Excellent communication leadership and problem-solving skills
