Job Summary
Life-Science Innovations is seeking a strategic and hands-on Chief Financial Officer (CFO) / Shared Services Director to join our executive leadership team. This role provides overall financial leadership and oversees centralized shared services functions across our group of companies.
The ideal candidate will bring a balance of strategic vision and operational execution helping guide business growth while ensuring strong financial stewardship risk management and organizational alignment. This position plays a critical role in shaping long-term strategy and driving performance across finance HR IT tax and risk functions.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Financial Leadership & Strategy
- Lead financial strategy forecasting budgeting and long-term business planning
- Advise executive leadership on profitability growth capital allocation and strategic initiatives
- Oversee cash flow banking relationships financing and debt compliance
- Evaluate acquisitions investments and business performance metrics
- Present financial insights and recommendations to ownership and leadership teams
- Accounting Reporting & Compliance
- Oversee consolidated financial reporting across multiple entities
- Ensure accurate and timely financial statements audits tax coordination and regulatory compliance
- Maintain strong internal controls governance and risk management practices
- Drive financial systems improvements and reporting efficiencies
- Shared Services Leadership
- Provide strategic oversight for:
- Human Resources including talent strategy succession planning compensation and employee engagement
- Information Technology including ERP optimization infrastructure cybersecurity and scalability initiatives
- Risk Management & Safety including insurance compliance and enterprise risk mitigation
- Tax strategy compliance and coordination with external advisors
- Provide strategic oversight for:
- Leadership & Organizational Development
- Lead and develop high-performing teams across finance and shared services functions
- Foster a culture of accountability collaboration and continuous improvement
- Partner cross-functionally to align shared services with organizational goals
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or related field required; CPA and/or MBA preferred
- 10 years of progressive financial leadership experience
- Experience in multi-entity or operationally complex environments preferred
- Strong expertise in financial reporting planning treasury tax and risk management
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive organizational growth
- Excellent leadership communication analytical and problem-solving skills
