Lead financial strategy budgeting and fiscal operations for a higher education institution ensuring long-term financial sustainability and regulatory compliance.
Job Duties and Responsibilities- Develop and manage annual institutional budget
- Ensure regulatory and grant compliance across all funds
- Optimize endowment and investment portfolio performance
- Deliver timely financial reports to leadership and board
- Reduce operational costs through strategic financial planning
Qualifications :
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting or related field
- MBA or Masters in Finance preferred
- 10 years of progressive financial leadership experience
- 5 years in higher education or non-profit finance
- CPA or CMA certification strongly preferred
- Fund accounting
- Budgeting & forecasting
- Financial reporting (GAAP/GASB)
- ERP systems (Banner Workday PeopleSoft)
- Grant compliance management
- Investment & endowment management
- Advanced Excel and data analysis
