Position Summary
The Cheer Skill Camp Coach is responsible for planning and leading a safe engaging and positive cheer camp for students. The coach will teach fundamental cheerleading techniques while promoting teamwork sportsmanship confidence and school spirit.

Essential Responsibilities

• Plan and conduct daily cheer camp activities and instruction.
• Teach basic cheerleading skills including motions jumps chants stunts (as appropriate) and dance routines.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of all participants during camp activities.
• Foster a positive inclusive and encouraging environment for all students.
• Promote teamwork discipline respect and good sportsmanship.
• Maintain appropriate supervision of students at all times.
• Communicate effectively with school administration regarding camp activities and student needs.
• Follow all American Paradigm Schools and Tacony Academy policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Experience in cheerleading coaching or a related activity preferred.
• Experience working with school-aged children is preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to create a positive and supportive learning environment.
• Required clearances and background checks in accordance with school and state requirements.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to demonstrate cheerleading techniques and participate in physical activities.
• Ability to stand walk and supervise students for extended periods.
• Ability to lift and assist students as needed while following appropriate safety guidelines.
