Cheer Junior Varsity Head Coach

Job Description

Mater Dei High School a Catholic co-educational college preparatory high school of the Diocese of Orange has an immediate opening for a Cheerleading Junior Varsity Head Coach.

The ideal candidate should have a demonstrated record of providing sound leadership in a cheerleading program(s) including conducting competitive practices daily modeling leadership behavior commiserate with the Catholic Church has a track record of creating healthy relationships with student-athletes in the program and clearly communicates expectations with student-athletes parents and Varsity Head Coach.This position starts August 15 2026 and ends June 30 2027.

NFHS Fundamentals of Coaching NFHS Sudden Cardiac Arrest NFHS Concussion in Sports NFHS Heat Illness Prevention CPR/First Aid/AED certification are required.

This position will be responsible for managing the program in alignment with and dedicated to the mission of Catholic education as envisioned in Church documents and teachings rooted in our core principles of Honor Glory and Love.

Education: Bachelors degree in a related field preferred.

Experience: Previous direct coaching experience preferred.

Stipend: $ based on experience
