POSITION SUMMARY
TheQualityCheckeris responsible forcoordinating safety and quality functions may include auditing shipments work areas processes orother areas orfunctions asassigned by warehouseis in compliance withsafetyand quality policies and position performs work involving the implementation of identified safety and training programs and a variety of associated operations. This position is expected to uphold andcomply withall Standard Operating Procedures corporate and site-specific policiessafetyand work rules and OSHA/MSDS Standards.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible formaintainingthe Document Control CenterDataand Records of the Quality System.
Support documentation and follow up on Internal Audits QMS/QIS and Corrective Actions raised from Internal Audits.
Update visual aids process instructions quality procedures corrective and preventive actions clientdocumentations.
Generate and update control charts as well as Quality QOS
Review and validation of all controlled documentation used and displayed throughout the plant against QIS.
Participate in the Continuous Improvement Projects.
Work close in hand with Supervisortodevelop improvements toemployeesperformance as well as the service provided to all other departments.
Perform plant tourstodetect any activity not in compliancewithinthe quality.
Keep under clean and organized conditions theworkstationand/or area.
Availability to develop anynew activityor project assigned.
Ensure Weekly Triggers files are sent to the Suppliers ona timelybasis.
Manage/follow up ofagedmaterial process; notify Customer for proper disposition.
Manage the excess/slow moving inventory andseek fordisposition.
Maintain Vendor/Parts profile updates in the system.
Continuously work on improving operations communication with Supplier and Customer.
Prepare all paperwork and backup fata for return shipments.
Ensure customer responses are made within customer serviceobjectives.
Responsible for several reports andmonitorcompliance.
Coordinate cycle counts asrequiredfor Sync Report Analysis.
Setup andmaintainall vendorcontactand part profile information.
Activelyparticipatein Customer/Internal Corrective Action and Improvement Plans.
Support other areas asrequired.

MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Education and/or Experience
Must have a high school diploma or general education degree (GED).
Ability to handle basic statistical control methods.
Must havepreviousInventory experience.
Current orpreviousexperience with Quality Management System.

SKILLSKNOWLEDGEAND ABILITIES
Computer Skills
Mustpossessexcellent computer skills not limited toMS Office Windows or Visio.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience working ina logistics/distribution/relevant environment.
Previousexperience working with Internal Audits Document Control and CorrectiveActionplans.

While performing the duties of this job the employeerarely isexposed to fumes or airborne particles toxic or caustic chemicals. The noise level in the work environment isusually lowto moderate.

For this position the expected base pay rate of $23.19 hourly. Actual compensation will be determined based on job-related factors such as relevant experience skills education certifications and geographic location in accordance with applicable laws and company policy.
