Job Summary
As a CHB Operations Associate you play a critical role in ensuring our customers imports move smoothly compliantly and on time. You will manage endtoend customs brokerage operations for a dedicated portfolio of accounts partnering closely with customers carriers government agencies and internal teams.

What Youll Do
You will take ownership of daily customs brokerage operations for assigned customers including:
Serve as a trusted point of contact for customers responding to questions and providing timely accurate shipment updates
Prepare and process U.S. Customs entries and Partner Government Agency (PGA) filings ensuring full regulatory compliance
Open and manage entry files in alignment with defined KPIs and service standards
Coordinate shipment clearance with freight forwarders steamship lines airlines and container freight stations (CFS) to ensure timely release
Track and trace inbound shipments from port or airport through final delivery
Ensure all required documentation and entry packages are accurately uploaded into operating systems
Complete customer billing delivery orders and required operational reports
Maintain and update customer Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) as needed
Collaborate closely with teammates and crossfunctional partners to support coverage crosstraining and peakvolume needs

Required / Preferred Qualifications:
612 months of customs brokerage or related industry experience
At least 2 years in a CHB or operational support environment preferred
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Highly organized detailoriented and comfortable working under pressure
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fastpaced environment
Teamfocused mindset with a strong sense of ownership and accountability
Bachelors degree preferred (or equivalent work experience)
Customs House Broker License preferred but not required

Salary: $56000 - $60000*

* The above stated pay range is the anticipated starting salary range for this position. The Company may adjust this range in light of prevailing market conditions and other factors such as location.
