Job Summary
The Charge RN leads and coordinates patient care by assessing planning implementing and evaluating nursing practices in alignment with established standards. Serves as a clinical resource and supports high-quality patient outcomes.
3500 Unit Details:
Bed Numbers: 26
Nurse to Patient Ratio: 4:1 possible 5:1
Patient Population: stepdown patients cardiac drips set rates cardiac drips set rates post procedural patients cardioversions bipap airvo chest tubes post pacemakers BLS/ACLS/NIHSS common diagnosis of CHF COPD CKD
Qualifications:
Education:Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN Diploma or BSN)
Licensure:Current RN license in the hiring state or compact state required
Certifications:
BLS (AHA) required within 30 days of hire
Additional certifications may be required based on unit including: ACLS PALS NRP TNCC ENPC OCN CPHON PEARS S.T.A.B.L.E. C-EFM or other unit-specific credentials
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift/push/pull up to 50 lbs
Prolonged standing and walking
Frequent bending reaching kneeling twisting and squatting
