Role as the Charge Nurse (LPN)

Americare Senior Living is seeking a dedicated Charge Nurse (LPN) to provide frontline clinical leadership and exceptional resident care within our skilled nursing community.
In this role youll oversee nursing services during assigned shifts supervise caregiving teams and ensure residents needs are met with professionalism compassion and compliance with state federal and Americare standards. Youll serve as a key clinical resource supporting care delivery and fostering a safe respectful environment.
The Charge Nurse (LPN) is responsible for providing clinical oversight and supervision of nursing care during assigned shifts to ensure quality outcomes and regulatory compliance.
This role guides nursing staff administers medications and treatments maintains accurate documentation and serves as a central communicator between residents families providers and leadership.
Charge Nurse (LPN) LPN Supervisor Floor Nurse (LPN) Shift Supervisor (LPN) or Licensed Practical Nurse Charge Role.
- Oversee nursing services administration and clinical supervision during assigned shifts
- Ensure compliance with nursing care standards policies and procedures
- Supervise and guide nursing staff including LPNs CNAs and CMAs
- Complete and update resident assessments care plans and clinical documentation as needed
- Communicate changes in resident condition to families physicians and nursing leadership
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and facility protocols
- Conduct routine rounds to ensure resident needs are being met
- Address document and report incidents accidents and concerns including suspected abuse or neglect
- Ensure appropriate supplies equipment and medications are available and communicated to leadership
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to promote quality care and resident safety
- Uphold Americares mission vision values and company policies
- Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license required
- Familiarity with state and federal nursing regulations
- Strong communication leadership and clinical judgment skills
- Experience in skilled nursing long-term care or senior living preferred
- Passion for resident-centered care and team collaboration

- Lift up to 25 lbs. and assist with resident transfers as needed
- Push pull and maneuver up to 100 lbs. including resident mobility assistance
