Changeover Crew| Part-Time | Cable Dahmer Arena

Oak View Group (OVG) is the global leader in premium live entertainment infrastructure and services with a platform spanning venue development and end-to-end capabilities across venue management hospitality and sponsorship sales. In this position you are a member of the Changeover Crew. Duties required converting the facility from hockey mode to concert or basketball/soccer and back. Any event-oriented preparation/setup required for shows or sporting events to run safely and efficiently and other duties as assigned.

This role will pay an hourly rate of $15.00-$20.00.

Cable Dahmer Arena is a 5800-seat arena in Independence conjunction with the Arena OVG also operates Independence Community Ice.

• Responsible for working as part of a team to convert and prepare the arena for events.
• Installing/removing ice covering staging risers and basketball courts.
• Handle folding chairs stacking chairs tables of various shapes and sizes drapery and skirting.
• Assist when necessary with pre/post event cleaning including but not limited to sweeping mopping trash removal vacuuming spot cleaning washing and carpet cleaning.
• Maintain an effective working relationship with other departments clients and patrons encounteredinthe course of employment.
• Work effectively under pressure andstringentschedule to produceaccurateresults.
• Other duties as assigned.

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Related experience desired but not required.
• Ability to lift heavy objects often.
• Knowledge of staging and production equipment desired.
• Available to work flexible hours preferred including daytime evenings and overnights (mostly overnights).
• Must wear safety footwear.
