Schedule: Day Shift 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 AM 7:30 PM)
Guaranteed Hours: 36 Hours Weekly

- Traveler Pay Package: $1906 per Week
We are seeking an experienced Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) to join a high-volume Operating Room team specializing in complex surgical and transplant procedures. The ideal candidate will possess strong scrubbing skills extensive operating room experience and recent hands-on experience supporting liver transplant surgeries. This role requires the ability to work independently in a fast-paced surgical environment while maintaining the highest standards of patient safety and sterile technique.
- Prepare operating rooms surgical instruments supplies and equipment for surgical procedures.
- Establish and maintain sterile fields throughout surgical cases.
- Function as the primary scrub technologist during complex surgical procedures.
- Anticipate surgeon needs and efficiently pass instruments supplies and equipment.
- Assist with surgical counts and ensure compliance with patient safety protocols.
- Support transplant general and specialty surgical procedures.
- Maintain aseptic technique and infection prevention standards at all times.
- Ensure proper handling preparation and maintenance of surgical instrumentation.
- Collaborate with surgeons nurses anesthesia providers and perioperative staff to support efficient workflow.
- Assist with room turnover and preparation for subsequent cases.
- Participate in on-call coverage as required.
- Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program required.
- Current National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) Certification required.
- Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Certification required.
- Minimum two (2) years of recent Operating Room Surgical Technologist experience required.
- Recent experience independently scrubbing liver recipient transplant procedures required.
- Experience with large open abdominal surgical procedures required.
- Experience in a high-volume surgical environment preferred.

- Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced high-acuity operating room environment.
- Knowledge of robotic-assisted surgical procedures preferred.
- Strong organizational and critical-thinking abilities.
- High-volume Operating Room environment.
- Approximately 35 surgical cases performed daily.
- Advanced robotic surgery technology utilized within the department.
- Call requirement of approximately 4060 hours every six weeks including holiday coverage.
