St. Elizabeth Healthcare is hiring a Certified Surgical Tech (CST) for a Surgery unit located within the Edgewood Kentucky hospital.

*Weekend Option working Saturday & Sunday*

Shift: Day shift 7:00 am - 7:00 pm.

Hours: Full-time 24 hours weekly compensated for 36 hours.

Under the direction of the Registered Nurse performs the duties of the scrub person to meet the surgical needs of the patient in the perioperative setting. Demonstrate respect dignity kindness and empathy in each encounter with all patients families visitors and other employees regardless of cultural background.

Qualifications

Education Credentials Licenses

Graduate of an accredited surgical technician program. Proof of certification within one year of hire date.

Specialized Knowledge

In-depth knowledge of anatomy and physiology surgical procedures instruments sutures and equipment for surgical procedures.

Kind and Length of Experience

Graduate of accredited surgical technician program.
