Department Highlights:

THS Certified Surgical Techs will assist in 4 operating rooms and 1 procedure room.

Services provided include Orthopedics Ophthalmology Podiatry ENT Dental and General Surgery.

Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Stephenville (THS) is a full-service 98-bed hospital serving Erath and surrounding counties since 1926. The hospital offers surgical services womens and infants services advanced diagnostic imaging sleep lab and a wound care program. Education
H.S. Diploma or Equivalent and was employed to practice surgical technology in a health care facility before September 1 2009 Req Or
Other Graduate of an accredited surgery technology program Vocational Nurse Program or graduate/completion of a military training program in surgical technology Upon hire Req
Other Graduate of an accredited surgery technology program Vocational Nurse Program or graduate/completion of a military training program in surgical technology Upon hire Pref

Experience
1 Year current operating room experience Pref

Licenses and Certifications
CST - Certified Surgical Technologist CST (NBSTSA) or TS-C (NCCT) and graduate of an accredited surgical tech program Upon Hire Req Or
CST - Certified Surgical Technologist CST (NBSTSA) or TS-C (NCCT) and was employed to practice surgical technology in a healthcare facility before September 1 2009 Upon Hire Req Or
CST - Certified Surgical Technologist CST (NBSTSA) or TS-C (NCCT) and graduate/completion of a military training program in surgical technology 2 Years Req Or
LVN - Licensed Vocational Nurse Upon Hire Req And
BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly Req And
CPI - Crisis Prevention Intervention Training 90 Days Req
