Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant

Momentum Physical Therapy is seeking a compassionate and motivated Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our growing hand therapy team. This is an excellent opportunity to work alongside experienced hand therapists in a collaborative outpatient setting while helping patients regain function and return to the activities they love.

Responsibilities:

• Provide skilled occupational therapy treatment under the direction of a licensed Occupational Therapist.
• Implement individualized treatment plans for patients with hand wrist elbow and upper extremity conditions.
• Instruct patients in therapeutic exercises functional activities splint care and home exercise programs.
• Monitor patient progress and communicate treatment updates to the supervising Occupational Therapist.
• Maintain timely and accurate documentation.
• Collaborate with physicians therapists and other healthcare professionals to provide exceptional patient care.
• Foster a positive patient-centered experience.

Qualifications :

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) program.
• Current Texas Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license required.
• Hand therapy or orthopedic outpatient experience preferred.
• Interest in upper extremity rehabilitation and hand therapy.
• Current CPR/BLS Certification.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to providing exceptional patient care and continued professional growth.
