What Youll Do
As a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant in a Skilled Nursing Facility you will help patients improve independence with daily living skills following illness injury or hospitalization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy treatments under the supervision of an OTR
- Implement individualized care plans focused on ADLs and functional independence
- Collaborate with therapists nursing staff and families
- Maintain accurate and timely electronic documentation
- Educate patients caregivers and staff on therapy programs
- Assist with discharge planning and patient progress tracking

Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
- Active Ohio COTA license (or eligible)
- Strong communication and teamwork skills

Preferred Experience
- Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) rehabilitation or post-acute care experience
- Experience with EMR/EHR documentation systems
Ideal candidates may have experience in Skilled Nursing Facilities (SNF) Long-Term Care (LTC) Post-Acute Rehabilitation Assisted Living Home Health or Outpatient Therapy settings.
