Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) PRN Per Visit Home Health

The Home Health - Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) will work with patients in their homes to provide occupational therapy services under the supervision of a licensed occupational therapist. The COTA will help patients develop recover and improve the skills needed for daily living and working.

• Assist the occupational therapist in evaluating patients needs and developing treatment plans.
• Provide occupational therapy services to patients in their homes.
• Help patients develop recover and improve the skills needed for daily living and working.
• Teach patients how to use adaptive equipment and assistive technology.
• Document patient progress and communicate with the occupational therapist and other healthcare professionals as needed.
• Provide education to patients and their families about occupational therapy and home exercise programs.
• Adhere to all state and federal regulations and guidelines for occupational therapy services.

• Current certification as an Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA).
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in home health or a related setting.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Valid drivers license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
• Kinnser/Wellsky experience (preferred)
